More than just silk lanterns, this festival showcases the immense creativity of artists, where nature and imagination collide to form brilliantly lit feats of design. You’ll marvel at exhibits towering over 50 feet tall and winding more than 100 feet across the grounds. With intricate Chinese patterns and cultural imagery woven into every piece, the lantern artists pull out all the stops to create an evening that envelopes you in light and leaves you in awe.

Does it cost extra to go ice skating at Zoolumination?

Yes. You can enhance your Zoolumination experience by adding ice skating for $12 for 45 minutes. Tickets go on sale Sept. 17.

What animals can I see at Zoolumination? 

While most animals are in bed by nightfall, the Sumatran tiger, Andean bear, and flamingos are known to still be active until about 8:30 PM.
