Zoolumination Chinese Festival of Lights
Illuminate your holiday season with the Zoolumination Chinese Festival of Lights, proudly presented by Anheuser-Busch. Experience the nation's largest Chinese lantern festival at the Nashville Zoo, where over 1,000 bespoke silk lanterns will cast a magical glow each night from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. November 17 to January 7, and then from January 11 to February 4 on Thursday through Sunday evenings.
What to See: Prepare to be dazzled by all-new lantern designs, creating a radiant walkthrough experience that promises to enchant visitors of all ages.
Who to Meet: Journey through the Zoo and discover vibrant scenes depicting mythical creatures and characters from Chinese folklore, all crafted by skilled Chinese artists.
Where to Visit: Don't miss the North Pole Village, where the holiday spirit shines with an array of lights and trees. Enjoy the festive atmosphere and Santa's company every night from November 24 to December 24.
Event Features:
- Live Entertainment: Marvel at the skills of Chinese acrobats and entertainers with nightly performances at 6:00, 7:00, and 8:00 p.m. in the amphitheater.
- Animal Friends: While most animals tuck in at dusk, the Sumatran tiger and flamingos will be up until 8:30 pm. Plus, the Unseen New World exhibit stays open all night.
- Beverages: Warm up with hot cocoa and cider (with a spike if you feel fancy), or enjoy a selection of beer, margaritas, specialty cocktails, coffee, and soda available for purchase until 8:00 p.m.
- Food: Savor the flavors at Quills Cafe and Screaming Gibbon Pizza Kitchen, or indulge in festive sweet treats and classic Zoo snacks at concession stands until 8:00 p.m.
